Ringing in Hope ends 2013 with Another Win

Leslie Greene was a wonderful race announcer at the New Years Eve Ringing in Hope races in Brambleton, Ashburn, Virginia.  Disability Lawyer Doug Landau won the 50-59 age group in the 5km.

Ending the running race on a high note, Herndon injury lawyer Doug Landau won the 50-59 age group at the Ringing in Hope 5km on New Years Eve. This Ashburn area event is put on by the folks at Potomac River Running (“PRR”). Leslie Greene did a great job as race announcer, and over 600 runners took part in the 5km, which was followed by a 10 km. around Brambleton Virginia. Landau finished in the top 20 overall, and managed a 6:44/mile pace despite the windy, rolling course.  Click here for full results.

The sun was out and it was relatively warm. There were plenty of children’s activities (including train and pony rides), making this PRR event very family friendly. Participating charities for this event included: Friends of Loudoun Mental Health, Children’s National Medical Center (The Brain Institute), and Capital Caring (Hospice).
