A clean open water lake swim with a sandy beach start is followed by a challenging 40K rolling bike course loop that goes through Huddleston and Moneta, Virginia. The rolling 10K run is all inside the park, which gives the racers a chance to size up the competition. The YMCA of Roanoke Valley‘s Big Lick Triathlon is a fundraiser for the YMCA of the Roanoke Valley’s Youth Programs.
