for the 800 meter race (about a half mile), the Herndon disability lawyer did the first 4 laps in an effort to break 3 minutes.  Finishing the half in 3:57, Landau hopes to get close to his “seed” time of 2:41 at the National Championships. Nationals are being held March 22-24, 2013 at the Wayne K. Curry Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex, 8001 Sheriff Road, Landover, Maryland 20785.  Admission is free and the meet will feature athletes from all over the United States, ranging in age from 30-96 in a display of speed, strength, and endurance. Track events will range from 60 meters to 3,000 meters, while field events will include the full range of indoor jumps and throws.
