Join us in congratulating Abrams Landau’s own Doug Landau who selected as a faculty member for a recent webinar — Negotiating with the Mediator: Strategies for Success.   The 1.5 hour session was run by the American Association for Justice (AAJ), and Doug joined other experienced litigators as they taught attendees from all over the United States tips for successful negotiations with a mediator.

Always committed to education — both as a student AND as a teacher — Doug was honored to participate in this, his first webinar as a teacher.

“I marvel at the way technology has made education — legal and other — more accessible,” says Doug.  “Back in the ‘old days’, we would have to at least leave our offices (and sometimes even travel great distances) to earn Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits.  Now, the fact that attorneys can sit in the comfort of their office, home, or anywhere quiet for that matter, is just terrific.”

Doug is proud to be a member of AAJ, whose mission is “Fighting for Justice”.  Asked afterwards if he would participate in another webinar where trial lawyers from around the country learn from the best, Landau replied, “of course, though I do miss seeing the faces in the audience and networking during the interstices of the program.”  There was a live Q&A session at the conclusion of the speakers’ presentations and Power Points.
