Roraback to Serve as Litchfield County Superior Court Judge
High School classmate Andrew Roraback amazed me with his legislative record for the North West corner of Connecticut. ‘Drew never missed a single vote during his 12 years in the state legislature. He was responsive to the needs and issues of neighbors in Lakeville, Sharon, Salisbury and the other towns and villages in Litchfield County. As a member of the Litchfield County Bar Association for over a quarter century, Andrew has grown in my esteem and that of our other classmates.
An excellent listener with a ready laugh and kind smile, my classmates at The Hotchkiss School and I noticed that former Republican Senator Roraback has always been enthusiastic about public service. Roraback, of Goshen, will serve an eight-year term, in succession to the Honorable Barbara Sheedy. He previously served a dozen years as State Senator of the 30th District, and prior to that, State Representative of the 64th Assembly District from 1994 to 2000. The Class of ’78 wishes Judge Roraback success in his new career as a member of the Connecticut judiciary.
