Our table at Brain Injury Services 2017 The Journey Conference. We had helmets, brains, videos and a contest!

Abrams Landau, Ltd. had the pleasure of sponsoring and exhibiting at this year’s Brain Injury Services (BIS) The Journey Conference for survivors of brain injury, stroke and concussion. sessions where local experts in the field of rehabilitation discuss practical strategies survivors can use in real life.

Attorney Doug Landau was elated to see that several of our former and current clients were attendees at the event. He also had the opportunity to pop in on a few of the sessions and learned about music therapy and nutrition for the brain!

At our table, we were able to share with TBI survivors and caregivers about attorney Landau’s Lids on Kids, a brain injury prevention and helmet giveaway program for local public schools that Landau started in an effort to protect more children. As an avid athlete, Landau knows firsthand the importance of always wearing a helmet.

We also had a contest for the conference attendees! The person with the closest guess as to how many pieces of chocolate were in the skull on our table won all the chocolate AND a $100 Amazon gift card! For all of you who were more eager to find out the number of chocolate pieces than actually winning the prizes, the total was… 41!
