The annual Halloween Parade is a time for fun and creativity. The Athletic Department came as cheerleaders with “the perfect cheer.” The English Department came as the cast of “Grease,” and the History Department was “Potomac Shore” – a take off on a television show about the New Jersey coastline. Having participated in the past, Herndon sports lawyer Doug Landau bamboozeled several other dads (and one brave and beautiful mom) into coming dressed as their daughters, who are all members of the varsity soccer team.

The dads were all trying for authenticity, down to their daughter’s mouth guards and shin guards. When the judges tallied up the scores, the “Varsity Soccer Dads” finished second ! Who finished ahead of them ? The “Varsity Soccer Girls” ! The dads are demanding a re-count, as the fix was definitely in this year…
