Herndon and Loudoun County Police Looking for Fatal Dranesville Road Car Crash Witnesses

continue driving after the accident. Police located the driver and another passenger several hours later after they had fled the scene. The Herndon man who died in this tragic series of events has not yet been identified.

According to news reports, the Fairfax County police have arrested the driver of that vehicle, 23-year-old Elixavier Ramirez of Herndon, in connection with the accident. The driver has been charged with felony hit and run, no operator’s license and filing a false police report. The second passenger, Herndon resident Wilson Escobar, was found in Loudoun County after he approached a police officer and reported he had been involved in a car accident. Wilson was taken to Fairfax Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. As of this posting, Fairfax County’s crash reconstruction detectives are continuing to investigate the accident. Additional charges may be pending.
