Now, Virginia’s elected officials are taking up the charge to educate the public.  Virginia Delegate Tom Rust is Chief Co-Patron of a bill (HB 1933) proposing to ensure that Virginia residents are adequately educated and informed of the limitations in the existing serologic tests to detect Lyme disease.

“Passage of this bill would be good news for citizens of Virginia.  If it means even one person is treated for Lyme early enough to prevent the terrible effects of the disease, then it will be a success!” says Lawyer Landau.  “Hats off to Delegate Rust for his efforts.”
