Attorney Doug Landau Gives Two Presentations at Annual American Association of Justice Convention
Attorney Doug Landau of the Herndon law firm Abrams Landau, Ltd. was asked to give two presentations at this year’s American Association for Justice (AAJ) Annual Convention in San Diego, California. Landau is grateful for any opportunity to be able to share the knowledge and experience he has acquired throughout the years as a trial lawyer.
He led off the convention by being the very first to present! Titled “It’s More Than Just Location: What Apps and Wearable Technology Can Tell You,” his first program presented an in-depth look into the role wearable devices, such as fitness and GPS devices, can play in a variety of legal cases. As an avid cyclist and runner himself who has also represented fellow injured athletes, he has firsthand experience in not only using such devices but also knowing how to utilize his clients’ devices in injury cases.
Landau’s second program was titled “Effective Use of Lay Witnesses–Presenting ‘Bullet Proof’ Testimony.” He gave specific and helpful advice and direction on how to best prepare your case, client and witnesses for court. He enjoys being able to educate others and therefore ultimately help those who were injured receive all the aid they can get.
