After winning his age group at the Manassas Airport “Runway 5k,” Herndon’s best running lawyer posed in front of a small Cessna similar to that which he travels to visit with clients and try difficult injury cases throughout the East Coast of the United States.

The Herndon law firm Abrams Landau, Ltd. has in the past hired small planes and helicopter photographers for cases, especially to combat insurance defense counsel’s computer-generated evidence in premises liability cases like slip & fall, dog attack, latent defect, and animal bite lawsuits.  Aerial photographs can be very effective evidence in personal injury, permanent disability and workers compensation cases.

Attorney Doug Landau himself has been known to board a small craft  —  Cessna 179, Mooney, and even twin engine aircraft — in order to meet with clients and witnesses and to try injury, disease, and disability cases.  Often, this is done to help disabled workers in far-off and hard-to-reach locations in North Carolina,  West Virginia and Tennessee, and such Virginia towns as Danville, Covington, Lebanon, Martinsville, and in West Virginia, Princeton, Bluefield, Warm Springs, and High View.

“People may think that traveling by small craft is dangerous, but my experience has been quite good,” says Doug.  “The convenience of having access to hard-to-reach places and clients has enabled me to win cases throughout the East Coast.  Driving in a car, riding a bus or train take a long time, and can also be dangerous over unfamiliar roads or after hours stuck in traffic.

If you or someone you know have been injured or disabled and there are questions as to what laws apply, email or call Abrams Landau, Ltd. at once (703-796-9555).
