Support our mission to prevent traumatic brain injury to kids"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As you can read about in <a href=\"https:\/\/landauinjurylaw.com\/theathleteslawyer\/2021\/11\/22\/lids-on-kids-fun-fitness-and-food-at-potowmack-elementary-school\/\">previous posts<\/a>, Abrams Landau&#8217;s &#8220;Lids on Kids&#8221; program aims to prevent traumatic brain injury to children by providing helmets to kids who otherwise may not be able to afford them, in addition to partnering with our allies to provide these kids with bicycles of their own.<\/p>\n<p>But we\u2019ve hit a snag.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9629\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9629\" style=\"width: 457px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-9629\" src=\"https:\/\/landauinjurylaw.com\/theathleteslawyer\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/giving-tuesday-2-800x800.jpg\" alt=\"Poster for Virginia Trial Lawyers Foundation campaign to raise funds for preventing traumatic brain injury to children\" width=\"457\" height=\"457\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9629\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Consider supporting the campaign to prevent traumatic brain injury to children with your donation this Giving Tuesday!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Virginia Trial Lawyers Association has generously supported this program and managed its funds throughout its duration. But after about a decade of traumatic brain injury prevention, and thousands of helmets provided to kids of all ages, funds for the program have nearly run dry. That\u2019s where YOU come in \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>Preventing traumatic brain injury, and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle through the joy of biking, is a cause that we at Abrams Landau believe is worth fighting for.
