Montclair is located about 20 miles outside DC off I95, so this is a great race for folks in the greater DC\/MD\/VA area.\u00a0 It is a Sprint Distance Triathlon that is USAT Sanctioned and consists of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>750 meter swim in Lake Montclair<\/li>\n<li>12.4 mile bike<\/li>\n<li>5k run<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This will be fun for everyone from novice to advanced triathletes and features a relay division as well.<\/p>\n<p>The Montclair Triathlon is limited to 500 participants and is expected to sell out quickly so don&#8217;t delay!\u00a0 <a title=\"Montclair Triathlon Registration Page\" href=\"https:\/\/www.montclairtriathlon.com\/registration.html\" target=\"_blank\">Click here<\/a> to register.<\/p>\n<p>You may be eligible for a reduced registration fee since discounts are available for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Montclair residents<\/li>\n<li>Early bird registration (prior to March 1)<\/li>\n<li>Active duty or retired military<\/li>\n<li>Athletes age 18 and under<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>BRATS is a terrific organization that strives to increase awareness about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle through the enjoyment of swimming and triathlons.\u00a0\u00a0 Visit the <a title=\"BRATS website\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristowtriandswim.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">BRATS website<\/a> for information on other upcoming races and events.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bristow Running Triathlon and Swimming (BRATS) has just announced the Montclair Triathlon to be held in Montclair, Virginia on Sunday, June 29, 2014.
