Ever eager to try international racing, Melissa & Doug Landau have registered for the 5 km held in conjunction with the Trinidad & Tobago Marathon<\/a> weekend of races. With point-to-point courses on the island of Trinidad, off the coast of Venezuela, the tropical heat will be a factor in the race times. The events include the Marathon, Half Marathon, School Relays and 5 km. All of the races end at Queens Park Savannah, in the Port of Spain section of the country. There is a Trinidad & Tobago Marathon FaceBook page<\/a> with interviews and photos of the competitors from all over the world. The Trinidad & Tobago Road Runners Club<\/a> compete in races year round and the island’s wonderful weather is conducive to road races, triathlons and other athletic competitions.<\/p>\n

Due to the severe cold and snowy conditions in Virginia, the Landau’s have not been able to train outside over the past fortnight. The weather played havoc with lawyer Landau’s office staff hours and trial schedule, with all of the Herndon ABRAMS LANDAU<\/a> law firm’s injury cases being continued by the judges until some time this spring ! “This delay only helps the insurance companies, as they have the money invested and earning returns, while my clients need the benefits sooner rather than later,” noted Herndon disability lawyer Doug Landau.
