In honor and remembrance of our fallen heroes, many area athletes will be taking part in local Veterans Day running races<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Potomac River Running<\/a> is hosting a Veteran’s Day 5K on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Fairfax Corner in Fairfax, VA.\u00a0 The 5K starts at 8:00 am, and there is also a fun-run 1K starting at 8:05am.<\/p>\n

Honoring our country’s service men and women is near and dear to the heart for athlete’s lawyer Doug Landau.\u00a0 After all, Doug’s son Zachary is currently serving in the US Navy while attending medical school, and both Doug’s father and father-in-law served in the military.<\/p>\n

Active or retired military get a discount on registration for this event!<\/p>\n
