A recent lawsuit filed in Richmond, Virginia serves as a reminder of the dangers faced by cyclists everyday on our roadways.\u00a0 In this tragic case, a young woman was riding her bicycle home from work when she was struck and killed by the driver of an SUV.\u00a0 According to a news report <\/a>, the woman’s bicycle was white (and therefore easily seen in the dark), and had appropriate lighting on both its front and back.\u00a0 The woman’s parents are bringing a wrongful death lawsuit.<\/p>\n
