The celebrated Bike New York Five Boro NYC Bike Tour takes place May 6th, 2013, and the Landaus look forward to taking part.\u00a0 Triathlon Trial Lawyer Doug Landau last toured all 5 boros in a day was during the New York City Marathon, which he ran with his brother. The Marathon in the Big Apple had almost as many people as the Five Boro Bike Tour<\/a><\/p>\n

On May 5th, there will be an educational and entertaining Bike Expo which is free and open to the public. The Bike Expo NY <\/a>sets the stage for the 36th Annual TD Five Boro Bike Tour on Sunday when 33,000 cyclists join in this world-class event and take to the streets of New York for the ride of their lives. As America\u2019s largest one-day celebration of cycling, the Five Boro Bike Tour offers cyclists the chance to pedal 40 miles of car-free streets throughout the five boroughs of New York City, each borough offering the distinct flair and character that make up the unique neighborhoods of this great city. In order to promote safety, the Tour organizers will have 3 starting times and will have sag wagons and bike mechanics along the route.\u00a0 There will be maximum and minimum speeds (6-16 mph), so that bikers will move along the route in an orderly fashion.<\/p>\n

Garnering more than 43,000 attendees, Bike Expo NY was the most attended inaugural consumer bike expo in the country. Proceeds from Bike Expo NY and the Tour fund Bike New York\u2019s free education programs for youth and adults throughout the five boroughs.
