{"id":3327,"date":"2012-10-12T06:00:43","date_gmt":"2012-10-12T06:00:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/landauinjurylaw.com\/theathleteslawyer\/?p=3327"},"modified":"2012-10-12T06:00:43","modified_gmt":"2012-10-12T06:00:43","slug":"abrams-landau-is-putting-lids-on-kids-part-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/landauinjurylaw.com\/theathleteslawyer\/2012\/10\/12\/abrams-landau-is-putting-lids-on-kids-part-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Abrams Landau is \u201cputting lids on kids\u201d  part 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday we told you about Herndon Injury Lawyer Doug Landau\u2019s plan to give away 365 free bike helmets this year to kids who cannot afford them.<\/p>\n<p>But it is much more than a helmet giveaway.\u00a0 An avid cyclist committed to promoting bike safety, Doug also teaches the kids about the dangers of biking without a helmet and the realities of traumatic brain injury.\u00a0 Together with the local police, he shows the kids the proper way to wear a helmet.\u00a0 Then he sends the children home with a free helmet and a safety information packet for their parents.<\/p>\n<p>Doug will be \u201cdoing his thing\u201d at local schools on the following dates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Rolling Ridge Elementary School (Sterling, VA)<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday October 24, 2012 at Herndon Elementary School (Herndon)<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday October 24, 2012 at Hutchison Elementary School (Herndon)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We will post additional dates in Loudoun County, VA as they are available.<\/p>\n<p>If you or someone you know has been injured as a result of a bicycle crash and there are questions about what laws apply, <a title=\"mail front desk\" href=\"https:\/\/landauinjurylaw.com\/index.php\/2012\/01\/31\/legal-causation-of-car-crash-injuries-is-not-so-simple\/mail.landaulawshop.com\" target=\"_blank\">e-mail <\/a>or call us at ABRAMS LANDAU, Ltd.
