\"DSCF3754.JPG\"Senior Night, Friday February 6th, 2009 at the Reston Ice rink was an exciting end to the regular season for the Herndon Hornets Hockey club. Several members of the high school, including Senior Captain and Defenseman Andrew Norman, were playing their final league game. With the score see-sawing, Herndon took the lead for good in the closing minutes. This was to be Coach Jim Norman’s final regular season game as well, after coaching in Herndon and Reston for over 10 years. Coach Norman, (in the baseball hat) celebrated after the game with Herndon injury and disability lawyer Doug Landau at Champs in Reston. Coach Norman is also a highly decorated JAG officer, who has retired from the Navy. On this high note, the Herndon Hockey team heads into post-season play.
