After a wet Jingle Bell 10km run, DC runners like Herndon lawyer Doug Landau get changed into warm, dry gear<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The 6th annual Jingle All the Way 10K was held despite the rain in Washington, DC’s West Potomac Park. The start was along Ohio Drive parallel to the Potomac River, just south of the Lincoln Memorial. Potomac River Running<\/a> stores generously provided gift certificates for the overall and first and second in the age groups. The grand prize is a Garmin Forerunner 405.<\/p>\n

There were cotton gloves to keep the runners warm, along with long sleeve technical shirts and, of course, bells for your shoes. Many pair of gloves were discarded along the route, and soggy smiles and costumes kept all the runners, joggers and walkers spirits high. The Colonial Running Company did their usual excellent job under less than ideal circumstances, and there were post-race snacks and drinks for all the finishers. Doug Landau of the Herndon law firm, ABRAMS LANDAU, Ltd<\/a>. jogged the race and then dashed off to find his car parked 2 miles away, as he had 2 more appointments that day ! Sports injury lawyer Landau was expected in Georgetown at Lulu Lemon in order to participate in the formation of the National Road Running League’s formation and then to Bethesda to lunch with New York Times sports writer Frank Litsky.
