Virginia injury lawyer Doug Landau caps his 2010 multisport season with another Age Group gold medal at the Hagerstown Maryland Duathlon<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The winds were gusting so hard that racers using disc wheels were nearly sent over the guardrails and into the highway below during the 2010 Hagerstown Duathlon today ! The sun was out, but the wind was treacherous. Luckily, no serious accidents were reported, though the finish line stand was blown over, and racer had to be extra careful on the highway overpasses in order to avoid crashes and injury. Doug Landau neglected to fully inflate his tyres before the race, and had sub par runs, but managed to get the first prize medal for the over-50 set and finished in the top 15 overall. From this point, it is likely that the Herndon sports injury lawyer will compete in road running races until the triathlon and duathlon season starts again in the Spring of 2011.<\/p>\n

Racine Multisports<\/a> did an excellent job under the circumstances, and the volunteers were terrific for this Run-Bike-Run event. The Hagerstown Duathlon Series races benefits the Cedar Ridge<\/a> Children’s Home which provides quality residential care for abused, abandoned, neglected, adjudicated and emotionally challenged boys between the ages of 6 and 14.<\/p>\n
