In one case, a 4-year-old girl who was shot at point-blank range by a neighbor who had been given a pump action bb gun <!--more--> was able to be taken from the Spotsylvania\/Fredericksburg area for prompt care by a pediatric vascular surgical specialist.Children&#8217;s National Medical Center ranks among the best pediatric hospitals in the country.
