We recently heard from parents whose young child was injured in the gate waiting area at Dulles International Airport in Dulles, Virginia.<\/p>\n

In general, an injured party must prove each and every one of the following in order to recover damages for an injury:<\/p>\n

\n[2] No Contributory Negligence or Assumption of Risk on the part of the injured person; and
\n[3] Damages that are reasonable and related to the accident, in other words<\/p>\n

That the injured person has sustained actual losses that:
\n[a] could have been mitigated;
\n[b] are reasonable in duration and amount;
\n[c] are directly related to this accident.<\/p>\n

The equation, simply put, is: LIABILITY + NO DEFENSES + DAMAGES = RECOVERY<\/p>\n
