Attorney Landau Presents at Bicycle Litigation Meeting at AAJ 2018 Convention

Dressed appropriately for the Hawaiian climate, Doug Landau was the moderator for the American Association for Justice Bicycle Litigation Group Meeting in Maui, HI. Landau had co-presented a Webinar for attorneys from all over the world on behalf of AAJ in order to teach trial lawyers about the latest breakthroughs in technology and strategies to help injured cyclists and other athletes.

During the American Association for Justice (AAJ) 2018 winter convention in Maui, Hawaii last month, attorney Doug Landau gave a Trial Advocacy presentation for lawyers on proving their injury cases with “invisible witnesses,” or electronic tracking devices such as FitBits.

In addition, he attended several Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs and strategy sessions, and took part in meetings with lawyers from around the world. As a faculty member, Landau had to make sure that his audio-visual and written materials passed muster for this peer-reviewed group, as lawyers would be receiving credits for their attendance. In many states, these credits are mandatory to retain your legal license.

While Landau wore flip-flops and board shorts to some of the less formal meetings, he had a pressed suit on for his CLE presentation at the national convention as his wife AND his mother were also in the audience!
